KQo in SB Empty KQo in SB

Post by Sneds Sun Jan 25, 2009 10:01 pm

Just wondering if I played this hand ok. Both villians were ~40/4's

I rarely raise KQo from the SB but just decided that I would open my range up slightly and play this hand. (I'm quite tight from blinds)

I can't decide whether I should be betting this turn or not. I decided against it because I'm OOP and I didn't want to make the pot too big if I could help it.

Thoughts?

I dont mind this line. I think betting would be fine against that particular villain but this is probably better as a default against unknowns. It allows him to bluff a ton of draws and floats whereas betting really narrows down his range and a bet is prob thin/bad against some opponents.
