Raise turn to get more money in pot but looks strong?
Or as played?

I was gonna say raise turn when I first read it, but I suspect that it was very results orientated and your play is fine either way.

In position I probably would flat it as well to let him bluff again if he misses FD

I prob shove turn [or 3bet flop if thats your kind of thing], but this is fine. Without a FD, river has gotta be a pretty easy muck? Even without, its gotta be pretty damn close. If you're playing balanced, river is a snap call regardless, but no one is bluffing here too often.
